Vancouver, meet the latest in a long line of awesome electronic projects. The outfit are called Lust and feature synth whiz Tyler Mounteney and live drummer Mike McDiarmid.
Via Crush Records, Lust just put out a new EP called Heartbeat, which you can hear in full below. It has five tracks, which range from blissed-out instrumentals ("Destiny") to catchy dance pop duets ("Heartbeat") with singer Zoe Garred.
The duo have yet to play much live in the city, but they do have a show set up at Vancouver's Cobalt on May 5. Lust also have a string of dates lined up for June in California. You can peep the sked here.
