Lizzo has spoken out against a rumour that claims she killed someone while stage-diving at a concert.
Yesterday (July 28), the pop star took to TikTok to share her thoughts on the rumour. "I've seen a lot of annoying things about me on the internet, but the thing that bothers me the most is this rumour that I stage-dived at a concert and killed somebody."
She denied the legitimacy of the rumour saying: "It's a lie, first of all. I've never stage-dived in my life, and bitch… How? Like, killed somebody!? Y'all really going to put that on my motherfucking name? Like, I know I'm big, but bitch, I'm not that fucking big."
To prove her point, the singer ended her video by stage-diving onto her bed while exclaiming "Bitch!"
In the past, Lizzo has used TikTok to open up to her fans and be vulnerable. In May, she posted a series of videos sharing her mental health struggles, saying: "If you're going through things, just know you're not alone."
The artist also recently revealed that she's in the studio working with Mark Ronson on her next album, a follow-up to 2019's Cuz I Love You.
