Living With Lions to Carry On As a Quartet After Deciding Not to Replace Departed Singer

Though they're best known for the trouble they got themselves into over the religious humour of their Holy Shit album, Vancouver pop punks Living With Lions faced further tribulations when their vocalist Stu Ross stepped down earlier this year.

The band managed to complete a scheduled tour with the aid of their original singer Matt Postal, but they've decided not to keep him on board. Instead, the band will operate as a quartet, with guitarist Chase Brenneman taking over mic duties.

Brenneman made the following statement on the band's Facebook page:

Picking a new singer, a new person to bring into the fold, someone that may or may not pan out in the long hall [sic] seemed very unappealing to us almost right away. Trust me it was all we thought about for the better part of the year. We kept on drawing the same conclusion, none of us really wanted to bring anyone else in. We've decided to continue on as a four piece with myself taking over lead vocal duties. I guess it's that simple. Its's [sic] been a surprisingly easy prosess [sic] and I'm excited to get a chance to sing the lyrics I've written over the years.

In the writeup, he also confirms that the band are hard at work on a new album. The full post can be read here.
