Listen to Two New Songs from Imagine Dragons

BY Josiah HughesPublished Mar 12, 2021

Love them or hate them, there's no denying that stadium pop quartet Imagine Dragons continue to exist. In fact, they're thriving. After spending the 2010s penning the top three rock songs of the decade (no, really), the pop rock megastars now look to dominate the 2020s. Today, they've released two new singles.

The songs are called "Follow You" and "Cutthroat." The former is a touching love song about frontman Dan Reynolds' decision not to follow through on divorcing his wife. It's a happy pop song that is honestly pretty damn good (even if it does have an unexpected scatting part that borders on yodelling). Then there's "Cutthroat," which lives up to its title as a bluesy, Rick Rubin-produced growler.

Listen to both new songs below, where you'll also find a statement from Reynolds about the tracks.
