Continuing with his Neon Skyline vignette, Andy Shauf has shared two new songs narrating more of the album's love story. The new 7-inch release features both "Judy" and "Jeremy's Wedding," and arrives via Arts & Crafts/ANTI-.
Mixed by Rob Schnapf at Mant Sounds, the two new songs are B-sides cuts from his 2020 record, which made Exclaim!'s 33 Best Albums of the Year So Far.
"'Judy' and 'Jeremy's Wedding' were outliers to the narrative of the album," Shauf said in a statement. "They fit a little bit outside the timeline, as I was trying to keep everything to a single night. They were also slightly different arrangement wise, so I decided that they might be best released together, apart from the album."
Both tracks are included in the release of a limited edition 7-inch vinyl and are available to stream on all digital platforms.
Previously, Shauf had share another outtake from The Neon Skyline, an early demo titled "You Slipped Away," which arrived back in April.
