There's still 10 days left before Sufjan Stevens releases his new solo studio record The Ascension, but the artist has already returned with a music video for his new single "Sugar."
The song is another percussive, synth-heavy Sufjan tune that is topped off with some heavily edited vocals. "Come on baby give me some sugar," Sufjan sings. "Sugar" arrives with a music video from Ezra Hurwitz, which is available to view below.
The Ascension arrives in full on September 25 via Asthmatic Kitty Records.
