Montreal's Mike Feuerstack has quite the résumé due to stints in the Wooden Stars and Bell Orchestre, but the singer-songwriter is probably best known for his work as Snailhouse. With that project, he's gearing up to release Sentimental Gentleman, the eighth Snailhouse offering. The record is set for release later this month, but you can stream it now on Exclaim.ca in our Click Hear section.

While Feuerstack remains the only constant member of Snailhouse, Sentimental Gentleman was recorded live off the floor with the three other members of his touring band. The resulting sound offered an immediacy and consistency throughout, providing an excellent platform to showcase Feuerstack's songwriting.
Sentimental Gentleman will be released on May 24 via Forward Music/White Whale. The album will be available for streaming here on Exclaim.ca until May 23.
