A year removed from releasing their debut full-length record, Victoria, BC's Ocie Elliott — the folk-pop project of Jon Middleton (of Jon and Roy) and Sierra Lundy — are following up the effort with a new EP titled In That Room. Courtesy of Nettwerk, you can now listen to the record in its entirety here at Exclaim!

Middleton and Lundy have shared the following statement about this new record:

We spend a lot of time working, creating and existing in a single room apartment together. Everyone has these rooms, literally or metaphorically, that contain the personal (and sometimes secret) histories of people. in that room is an exploration of this concept, as global challenges are often reflective of individual ones –– what happens in the world ultimately stems from what happens "in that room" of each person.

Additionally, the duo have shared a Dave Wallace-directed music for their newest single "Fame." The track follows the release of "Be Around" and "Forest Floor" from the EP.

In That Room follows the release of Ocie Elliott's first full-length record, 2019's We Fall In.

The duo have plans to tour Canada and Europe alongside Aussie indie-folk duo Hollow Coves in the near future. Stay tuned for those dates as they become scheduled.
