A new song from Leonard Cohen's upcoming posthumous album has been released.
"Happens to the Heart" follows previous teaser track "The Goal" and serves as the opening song on Thanks for the Dance.
The song arrives with a video directed by Daniel Askill, who told Rolling Stone: "I wanted to make something that spoke to Leonard's years as a zen monk. This film is a quiet, symbolic narrative that charts the letting go of ego and the trappings of fame."
It's the first video in a partnership between the Cohen estate, Sony Music Canada and Nowness, which will see filmmakers crafting visuals for each song on Thanks for the Dance.
