Ahead of releasing his new album Jesus Is King and its accompanying film, Kanye West has joined Zane Lowe for a new interview on Apple Music's Beats 1.

The two-hour conversation was recorded live at West's Cody, WY, ranch, and can be listened to here.

The ongoing, wide-ranging interview finds West discussing his dedication to Christianity and how it has influenced his forthcoming new album.

"There was a time where I was letting you know what high fashion had done for me. I was letting you know what Hennessy had done for me... Now I'm letting you know what Christ has done for me," he told Lowe.

Early on the in the conversation, West revealed his struggles with sex addiction, and also how he asked some Jesus Is King collaborators to fast and avoid premarital sex while working on the album.

West also claimed that social media is "the modern-day cigarettes," called himself the "greatest artist in human existence," said that "Rome is the true Silicon Valley of humanity," and that having a house down the street from Drake in Calabasas is proof that "God has a sense of humour."

West addressed his choice to don a MAGA hat, telling Lowe, "For the greatest artist in human existence to put a red hat on was God's practical joke to all liberals. Like, 'Nooo, not Kanye!'"

Late in the conversation, West also revealed a "Sunday Service album" titled Jesus Is Born will arrive "on Christmas," though he did not give a concrete release date. His attempt to trademark "Sunday Service" this past July was denied this month.

Jesus Is King had been set for a September 27 release — and then September 29 — before being delayed until its Friday release date of October 25. The companion IMAX film will also hit theatres the same day, and you can revisit the trailer below.

If all goes according to plan, expect Jesus Is King to hit streaming services at midnight EDT.
