Charmingly slick Hamilton, ON electro-pop duo Junior Boys have had a special place in our hearts since first winning us over on their 2004 debut, Last Exit. Since then, they've rarely taken a misstep, which is why we're so excited to hear their fourth album, It's All True.

It's All True was recorded all around the world, including stints in Hamilton, Berlin and Shanghai. The group's time spent in China had a major impact on the final product, as Junior Boy Jeremy Greenspan was living there when he first started writing and recording the record. There are even eight musicians from Shanghai on album opener "Itchy Fingers."
Aside from the influential locale, however, It's All True is less a reinvention and more a refinement of Junior Boys' increasingly clean, immaculately produced work. It's starting to feel like Junior Boys could keep making timeless dance pop forever.
