Prince's previously unreleased Welcome 2 America will finally become released on July 30 via Legacy Recordings. Today, we get another taste of the LP with the song "Born 2 Die."
The song follows the release of the album's title track, and once again makes excellent use of the number 2. It's a soulful tune, and you can stream it below.
In a press release, Prince's rep Morris Hayes said, "[Prince] had been watching videos of his friend Dr. Cornel West on YouTube, and during one speech, Dr. West said, 'I love my brother Prince, but he's no Curtis Mayfield.' So Prince said, 'Oh, really? We will see.'"
