After announcing that Lilith Fair would be returning in 2010, the all-female travelling revue has revealed its initial line-up. And, yes, Sarah McLachlan is performing.

In addition to the McLach, there's also a pile of other of A-list artists that should have no problem drawing crowds. Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige, Metric and Tegan and Sara have all been confirmed for the 2010 instalment, along with Emmylou Harris, Chairlift, Sara Bareilles, the Weepies, Miranda Lambert, Indigo Girls, Ke$ha, Colbie Caillat and A Fine Frenzy.

In a statement, festival co-founder Terry McBride said: "The 2010 Lilith Tour isn't just a celebration of women in music, but a celebration of diverse female voices across all genres. The original Lilith Fair broke down boundaries, and the new tour promises to do the same, with a mix of contemporary and classic, established and up-and-coming artists from the worlds of pop, rock, urban, country and more."

Tegan Quin of Tegan and Sara, who played one of the last Lilith Fair shows ten years ago, also offered up a little statement, saying, "We only played one show and it was on the smallest stage, in the rain, to nearly no one. And yet, for the past ten years, it continues to come up in almost every interview and is something we honestly look back on as a very important event in our career. The impact of Lilith Fair was felt all over the world, and its significance still resonates with women and the music industry itself ten years later. We are proud to be a part of it again and are truly excited that Lilith is back."

There are no confirmed dates yet for the festival, but it will include Canadian stops in Calgary, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
