Lil Wayne's 60 Worst Lyrical Missteps on 'Tha Carter IV'

BY Alex HudsonPublished Aug 30, 2011

We all had a hell of a long wait for Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV. Unfortunately, all of that extra time still wasn't enough for Weezy to fix some of the clunky rhymes contained in the album's 15 tracks. In our review of the disc, we noted, "Wayne's dependence on Drake-style hashtag lyricism starts to grate halfway through the album."

Fittingly, LA Weekly has put together a hilarious list highlighting the disc's 60 worst lyrical stinkers. Among the lines included in the breakdown are: "Don't call me 'sir' / Call me 'sir-vivor'" (No. 57, from "Nightmares of the Bottom"); "How you niggas want to have it your way / Burger King?" (No. 40, from "Megaman"); "Boy I send them Bloods at your ass / Like a tampon" (No. 6, from "Megaman"); and, of course, "Real G's move in silence like lasagna" (No. 3, from "6 Foot 7 Foot").

So which line ended up at No. 1? Drum roll please: "Don't fuck up with Wayne / 'Cause when it Waynes it pours" (from "How to Hate"). Yikes.
