While he's since been released, rapper Lil Wayne was sent to an L.A. hospital earlier this week after reportedly suffering multiple seizures at a near-by video shoot.
Sources close to Lil Wayne told TMZ that the MC was shooting a music video on Tuesday night (March 12) when the seizures started, and he was quickly taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital. The rapper was released early Wednesday morning (March 13), reportedly in good health. He has yet to comment on the matter publicly.
This latest health scare follows two incidents last fall where separate flights were forced to undergo emergency landings after Wayne suffered seizures in the air. While he was being treated for "severe migraine and dehydration" at the time, the musician revealed to MTV in November that he had been put on seizure medication.
As previously reported, I Am Not a Human Being II is due out March 26 via Young Money/Cash Money/Republic.
