Already this year Lil Wayne has released his Sorry 4 the Wait 2 mixtape and his FWA album. Now, the prolific (and most definitely not retired) rapper has announced plans to make it a trifecta of releases in 2015, since he has confirmed that No Ceilings 2 will be out on Thanksgiving.
Last night (November 1), Weezy announced the news with a simple tweet. He posted the above album cover and wrote, "Let's do it...Thxgiving...lets eat!" American Thanksgiving is on November 26.
Interestingly, the album cover prominently features the words "Young Money presents." Wayne has been at war with his label in 2015, and this feud has resulted in lawsuits on both sides. Wayne has said that Young Money has blocked him from putting out his album Tha Carter V, but evidently they're not blocking him here.
No Ceilings 2 is the follow-up to 2009's No Ceilings mixtape, which came out in October 2009.
