If you thought Lil Nas X was done churning out new versions of "Old Town Road," think again. The hip-hop/country crossover star has hinted that a new remix with Dolly Parton and Megan Thee Stallion could be on the way.
Yesterday (July 17), Lil Nas X tweeted, "y'all think i can get dolly parton and megan thee stallion on a old town road remix?"
Clearly not taking it as a rhetorical question, Parton herself responded with a photo of three horses — including a pink one with a blonde mane that could (and should) be artwork for another version of the hit track.
Megan Thee Stallion has yet to hop into the Twitter thread, so it's unclear if it will actually happen, but we can dream.
Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" remix featuring Billy Ray Cyrus has been reigning atop the Billboard charts for 15 weeks now.
Last week, Lil Nas X released a new version featuring additional features by Young Thug and "Walmart yodelling kid" Mason Ramsey. Prior to that, Diplo released his own mix of the song, as well.
