Rapper Boosie Badazz (a.k.a. Lil Boosie) has had plenty of trials and tribulations, including an ongoing struggle with diabetes and five years spent in prison for a drug charge. Now, the rapper is reportedly facing kidney cancer.
Earlier today, he posted the below image on Instagram. It looks like he's pensively thinking about life while enjoying a meal. The image initially came with a caption that has since been deleted.
Before it was deleted, however, TMZ saved the caption:
I need all my fans to pray for me Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys prayer is power that's why I'm letting the world know prayfaboosie
The Louisiana rapper born Torrence Hatch is 33 years old.
UPDATE (12/08, 5:20 p.m.): Boosie has undergone surgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, and successfully removed the cancer from his kidney. He said via Instagram, "I want to thank each and everyone for all the support and love! Surgery went well..God is good! Next step recovery! Cancer has been removed from Boosie kidney... Thanks to all Boosie family and friends and all my real Boosie fans for all the prayers from #badazzmusicsyndicate... I am a #cancersurvivor."
