Lil B Confirms Jay Electronica EP

Bay Area rapper Lil B is easily one of the hardest working weirdoes around, dropping countless mixtapes at a breakneck speed. As recently shown on tracks like "Base for Your Face," which featured 9th Wonder, Phonte and Jean Grae, he's also an excellent collaborator. That's why we're pumped to report that B will be collaborating with equally interesting rapper Jay Electronica on a new EP.

The news first came via a Lil B interview with Vibe late last year, where B said, "Look out for some music from Lil B featuring Jay Electronica and Lupe Fiasco, coming real soon. I got a text from Jay Electronica last night. Jay Electronica to me is one of the most original in the game right now."

Since then, Lil B has turned his attention towards hundreds of other tracks, but the rapper recently confirmed the project at San Bernadino's Paid Dues Festival on Saturday (April 2). LA Weekly reports that the boastful B revealed that the EP was on its way before boasting, "I am the most prolific writer in hip-hop."

On top of that release, Lil B is expected to drop a proper full-length, Glass Face, later this year.
