Lil B

"Flowers Rise" (video)

Almost as commonplace as the passage of time itself, we're starting to set our watches based on the frequency that Lil B drops new material. The Bay Area rapper has just unleashed a video for his God's Father track "Flowers Rise."

The track itself is one of the more introspective songs on the release, though we're still trying to understand the video. Sure, the song title only makes sense that B would be hanging out in a greenhouse literally watching flowers rise, but why did he decide to dress like a middle-aged woman in a leopard print Bogart hat and an inside out, heavily patterned dress?

While he doesn't explain the mom outfit, Lil B does close the video with an important quote: "PROTECT LIL B HE IS ONE OF A KIND AND THE ONLY ONE TO EVER DO WHAT HE HAS DONE — Lil B."
