Liam Gallagher Reviews Radiohead's King of Limbs: "Give Me a Fucking Break"

Less than two weeks ago, Radiohead thrilled music fans by releasing their latest LP, The King of Limbs, just days after it was first announced. We gave the album our mark of approval and called it "a collection of well-conceived, gorgeous and highly-listenable pieces of art." Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, however, was not as impressed.

In an interview with The Quietus, the notoriously outspoken singer offered this assessment of The King of Limbs:

I heard that fucking Radiohead record and I just go, "What?!" I like to think that what we do, we do fucking well. Them writing a song about a fucking tree? Give me a fucking break! A thousand year old tree? Go fuck yourself! You'd have thought he'd have written a song about a modern tree or one that was planted last week. You know what I mean?

Of course, we don't entirely trust Liam's judgement on musical matters. He recently said that his new album with Beady Eye is "right up there" with Oasis's Definitely Maybe, in terms of quality. Hmm...

Still, we're glad to see that, even if Liam spends as much time designing clothes as he does writing songs, he's still going to be stirring up controversy in the press with crass, unprovoked attacks on other bands.
