It was only a matter of time before jazz singer and producer Laufey announced details about her next record. A follow-up to her 2023 sophomore LP Bewitched, A Matter of Time will arrive August 22.
"I've taken my diary and turned it into an album of songs, delving into the whole range of emotions — from the beautiful to the ugly — that one experiences as life and love unfold in time," the Icelandic singer-songwriter revealed of the album in an Instagram post.
In the same social media announcement, Laufey shared that the album's first single "Tough Luck" will arrive tonight at midnight. The full tracklist for A Matter of Time has yet to be revealed.
