It's been half a decade since Liz Powell performed with her pop group Land of Talk, and even longer since they released their Cloak and Cipher LP. After a lengthy hiatus, however, it looks as though the band are back in full.
Via a press release, Powell has just announced three comeback shows for the act. The brief tour includes dates in Toronto and Montreal this May. You'll find the full itinerary below, and you can get tickets for the show beginning this Friday (January 15).
Land of Talk's comeback has been imminent for a while. Powell spent much of last year playing the band's songs at solo shows under her own name, and she also hinted that new music was coming on her band's Twitter page:
