La Lenguas

"9 to 5" (video)

La Lenguas recently shared some insight into singer Christopher Stoudt's love life with the blow-up doll-featuring video for "Love You All the Time." Now, the band is back with a fresh clip for "9 to 5."

Described as "an unholy marriage of 50s heartbreak and 70s punk, born in the New Orleans swamps and baked in the Los Angeles sun," the band released their debut Tears in My Milkshake EP earlier this year, featuring both of the aforementioned tunes. As one might assume, "9 to 5" is a less-than-enthusiastic lament about a shitty day job and the video encapsulates that sentiment.

Stoudt shot, directed and edited the clip on location in Inglewood, CA, aiming to deliver a documentary-style "day in the life" story of an L.A. sign-spinner.

Tears in My Milkshake is out now on Burger Records.
