It will take more than a stem of police charges, a SWAT team standoff and the threat of 15 years behind bars to stop Nick Oliveri from settling down, apparently, as he and his Kyuss Lives! bandmates have announced some more tour dates.
Despite Oliveri's recent hard luck, a press release confirms that the bassist will still be out on the road with the reformed desert rock outfit this fall for their North American jaunt. The previously announced first leg of the tour kicks off September 16 at Toronto's Sound Academy, and a new set of dates finds them hitting up BC, Alberta and Manitoba in November. You can see the updated tour schedule below.
If you're a fan of the hard-rocking stoner ensemble, you might want to check out whichever gig you can. You never know, this could be the last time you see Oliveri onstage for a long time.
