Formerly reluctant nu metal kingpins Korn released their 14th studio album Requiem back in February through Loma Vista, and today, they've revisited the record's closing track, "Worst Is on Its Way" by treating it to a remix from collab-ravenous labelmates HEALTH.
The Los Angeles industrial trio have teamed up with Danny Brown — a longtime Korn fan — and Flatbush Zombies' Meechy Darko on the track, and the combination of heavyweight forces here matches the outcome; HEALTH's gothic synths balance frontman Jonathan Davis's signature scatting, while Brown's pitchy bars offer equal portions levity and spookiness.
As if the whole thing weren't already a nu metal match made in heaven, Korn have also inexplicably announced their own line of hot sauce called — yep — "Here to Slay" through HEATONIST, dedicating the corn-jalepeño-chipotle-pineapple-serrano sauce to their Bakersfield, CA, roots.
