We recently learned that Koko Bonaparte (Interstllr) and Evan Gordon (Islands, the Magic) were preparing to release their debut album as Koko Blue, and they confirmed plans to release a video for each of the 13 tracks on Crosses and Planks. Now, they've shared a clip for the album track "Salt Water."
This video for this exceptionally low-key ballad shows the duo performing the song, and the close-up camera work is noticeably grainy and shaky. These shots are intercut with footage of icy ocean landscapes, and the whole thing has a sense of DIY intimacy akin to Beck's One Foot in the Grave.
