Calgary musician Neal Moignard has long made experimental folk music under the name Knots, but he's switched gears for his new album. Expanding the project's lineup to include members of Empty Heads and Port Juvee, he's made an album of classic indie rock tunes.
The album is called Four Years in the Shade and was produced by Craig Fahner (Feel Alright). The release's nine songs continue to demonstrate Moignard's knack for songwriting, but this time there's a sturdy slacker rock backbone to guide everything along.
