With the Canadian live music scene quickly coming back to life, Kingston is getting a new music event. SPRING REVERB is a showcase of the local scene, which will run from June 1 to 4.

PUP are lined up to be the event's out-of-town headliners, while nearly all of the rest of the lineup will be local. The lineup will be announced on May 2 — and the call for artists to apply is open until April 19. All performers will be paid and promoted, and there are even opening slots for PUP still to be determined. Local bands can apply to perform here.

SPRING REVERB is dedicated to uncovering emerging artists and giving them exposure through visiting media and industry members.

The event is being put on by KPP Concerts. Tickets for PUP's show, which takes place at the Ale House on June 1, are available through KPP's website.

Stay tuned for the full lineup to be announced on May 2.
