Aside from being a really great rapper, Run the Jewels member Killer Mike has become something of a political pundit over the years. He's penned many an open letter, and even ran as a write-in vote for the Georgia House of Representatives. Becoming even more politically active, the artist also introduced Bernie Sanders at an Atlanta rally.
As multiple sources have pointed out, Killer Mike opened up the rally with a fiery, five-minute speech. Wearing a Run the Jewels sweater, he pleaded with America to vote for Sanders. "In my heart of hearts I truly believe that Senator Bernie Sanders is the right man to lead this country," he said.
Prior to the rally, he also had some one-on-one time with the senator, taking him to Atlanta's famed Busy Bee restaurant. Watch Mike's speech and see Bernie holding up a Busy Bee's menu below.
