Ahead of embarking on their 16-date North American tour, Toronto's Keys N Krates have announced a new album, Original Classic, out November 12 on Last Gang Records.
Along with the announcement, the trio have also shared the record's title track, featuring Juicy J, London rapper Chip and UK singer Marbl. It's a sunny, low-riding three-and-a-half minutes, the kind of song that might just fool you into thinking summer isn't over.
"We love taking unlikely people, and putting them on unlikely beats while making the whole thing feel very organically like its own vibe," the group said in a statement about the single. "Jazzy voiced wavy chords, 808s, eerie strings, Afro-Brazilian rhythms; with Juicy J, Chip, and Marbl going crazy but sitting in a hypnotic pocket that feels driving and timeless."
Most recently, the group released this year's "Take It Off" and "Brazilian Love Song." They'll bring their new tunes on the road this fall, including a stop at Toronto's Velvet Underground in November.
Original Classic is the follow-up to 2019's A Beat Tape for Your Friends.
