Kendrick Lamar Announces Physical Editions of 'untitled unmastered.'

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 10, 2016

Last week, Kendrick Lamar surprised the rap world by digitally releasing untitled unmastered., an eight-song follow-up to his beloved 2015 LP, To Pimp a Butterfly. While many have downloaded the project, or streamed it online, traditional media fans looking for a physical release will get their wish fulfilled later this year.

CD and LP editions of untitled unmastered. were confirmed by Lamar yesterday (March 9) over Twitter, where he explained that he'd be selling "hand-signed and autographed" copies through his website.

The CD edition lands first, and is expected to ship by March 31. Vinyl fans will have to wait a little bit longer, as the LPs are expected to be sent out by May 26.

If you're hoping there's some sort of magical way to levitate, levitate, levitate the music from your stereo into your personal device, let it be known that both the CD and the LP come with a digital download.
