Last week, rapper Theophilus London got a lot of people excited when he claimed that Kanye West had played his anticipated Yeezus follow-up at a listening party in Paris. Now, London has clarified that Kanye isn't actually finished his new album after all.
Somewhat strangely, London attempted to blame "hypebeast bloggers" for the rumours that he himself perpetuated. He wrote:
This is a rather sudden about-face given London's prior tweets, which naturally led everyone to assume Kanye's album was finished. Did Yeezy play an unfinished version of the album in Paris? At this point we're not sure, but it looks as if we're going to have to wait a little longer for the collection, which has been rumoured to come out before the end of 2014.
And in the future, we're going to take London's tweets with a grain of salt.
