Kanye West Takes Aim at Drake, Nick Cannon in Instagram Rant

This man needs to log off

At the start of this month, Kanye West seemed ready to move on from Drake and Pusha-T's beef earlier this year. Now, a new series of rambling Instagram clips from the rapper may indicate otherwise.

The four front-facing camera clips find West addressing Drake, Nick Cannon and model Tyson Beckford over things they had said about his wife Kim Kardashian that "were not sitting right with [his] spirit."

More specifically, West is taking issue with things Drake hasn't said, as he appears to reference a viral fan theory that Kim K. is the "Kiki" from the Canadian rap titan's smash hit "In My Feelings." West addresses the viral tweet as follows:

Now if I wasn't in a medicated state, I might have thought, and had the wherewithal to say, 'Hey Pusha, don't diss Drake on my beat,' and I spoke about that and took accountability for that. Now what I'm looking for, for my spirit to take accountability, is the fact that it's people making rumors or thinking that you fuck my wife, and you not saying nothing, and you carrying it like that. That don't sit well with my spirit. You know if i had a girlfriend from Chicago, her name was Renita, and then you was married to Rihanna, I wouldn't make no song called 'Riri.' So when you're like, 'Aw, I don't know where it come from,' you too smart for that bro. You know where that come from. Don't make no record with nothing that could be confused. Now I told you, I didn't tell Pusha no information about your baby, baby momma, nothing like that. That didn't come from me.

In June of this year, Genius revealed "Kiki" to be K'yanna Barber, a woman from Oakland, California that Drake had previously been romantically linked to.

West also sought to take Drake to task over a snippet of an unreleased collaboration with Future that surfaced in March. In the snippet, Future raps, "Kylie Jenner is a side-piece, I got 20 motherfucking Kylies, I got 20 damn Kylies," while Drake's lyrics include "I got 20 damn Kendalls."

"I told you, [Travis Scott] is your man, don't make no record like that. That man just had a baby with her, that's going to be offensive," West says, referencing Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's daughter Stormi.

You'll recall that West rapped about sleeping with the Kardashian-Jenner sisters just over a month ago on his "XTCY" single, but as he tells the camera, "I hit Trav about the 'XTCY' record and made sure that we was all good, that we family."

When it comes to Cannon and Beckford, West mentions his displeasure with the former mentioning his old relationship with Kim in Vlad TV interview, while his grievance with the latter stems from an Instagram comment.

Of course, West also ruthlessly grilled Wiz Khalifa back in 2016 for referencing a "KK" in a tweet. The initials actually referenced a strain of weed.

West has been teasing a new LP titled Yandhi that is currently set to arrive next week, though it might be a good idea for him to stay offline until then.
