Kanye West Is Apparently Finding Inspiration for His Next Album on a Wyoming Mountaintop

Kanye West is reportedly at work on the follow-up to last year's The Life of Pablo. As TMZ reports, the rapper is holed up at a mountaintop retreat in Wyoming, finding inspiration for his next LP.

West has currently been at the remote location for a week now, following a previous two-week visit to the same spot.

West has noticeably shied away from the public eye in recent months, opting not to attend high-profile events like the Met Gala with his wife, Kim Kardashian, or his most recent Yeezy fashion show.

The rapper also recently wiped his social media presence, deleting his Twitter account and Instagram.

TMZ claims that West is "smack in the middle of the creative process," and cites multiple sources confirming that his recent withdrawal from the spotlight "has nothing to do with problems at home or problems with his head."

In the wake of the release of The Life of Pablo, West famously cancelled a string of shows on his "Saint Pablo Tour" after being hospitalized for what his physician described as "temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration."

Since his release and recovery, West has caused controversy with comments about and a meeting with Donald Trump. He's also kept his creative juices flowing, though, contributing to Mary J. Blige's latest record and launching a kid's clothing line.
