Up to now Kanye West seemed to be having a pretty great week, stopping by Fallon and announcing more tour dates behind his Yeezus album. But it's all ending on quite the downer, as Kanye has been hit with criminal charges connected to a recent run-in with the paparazzi.
As TMZ reports, West has been charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft for allegedly attacking a photographer at Los Angeles's LAX on July 19. The photog was reportedly sent to hospital following the dust-up and has since filed suit.

Kanye is due in court on October 10. If found guilty of the charges, he faces a maximum of one year in jail.
