Kamasi Washington teased a new EP dubbed Harmony of Difference earlier this year, and now the sax wizard has given us full details for the upcoming release, as well as plans to take the new material on the road.
Harmony of Difference is due out on September 29 via Young Turks, and you can see the full six-number tracklisting below. That's its cover art above.
As previously reported, the first five movements stand as unique compositions, while the sixth and final one ("Truth") fuses the previous five into a one simultaneous performance piece.
Following a run of European shows, Washington will bring his latest material to North America in November. Beginning in Milwaukee on November 7, Washington will eventually make his way to Toronto for a sole Canadian date on November 16 at the Danforth Music Hall. From there, he'll return stateside, eventually wrapping up the run of shows in Memphis on December 11.
