Justin Bieber may be going on hiatus, but his last album continues to wreak havoc on a global scale. An Icelandic canyon that was featured in his (admittedly excellent) video for Purpose single "I'll Show You" is now in desperate need of repairs thanks to Justin's fans.

The Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon saw its visitors increase drastically since Bieber released the video in 2015, according to the Environmental Agency of Iceland.

"This canyon was somewhat unknown," Environmental Agency of Iceland head Daníel Freyr Jónsson told Lonely Planet. "The great increase in foot traffic began after Bieber came. There has been an increase of 50 percent to 80 percent between 2016, 2017 and 2018."

The canyon will now undergo repairs this June in order to accommodate its increase in visitors.

"We need to build a better infrastructure there so we can invite people all year round," Visit Iceland director Inga Hlin Palsdottir said. "We need paths that can be discovered all year round. It's not only because of nature, it's a safety issue."

Instead of visiting the canyon in real life, revisit the "I'll Show You" video below.
