Time and time again, prolific French duo Justice prove that they can find the pulse of a crowd, even during a downpour. Taking to the stage during a rare pocket of clear skies on a day mired by schizophrenic weather, Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay stepped behind their respective stations (at an awkward, sideways angle) and began an onslaught of best-of hits.

Beginning with "Safe and Sound" off their 2016 album Woman, and moving seamlessly into "D.A.N.C.E." with multi-coloured balloons volleying across the massive crowd, it became clear that the two producers were going to give the Osheaga audience exactly what they wanted to see.

Unveiling song after song at an unhurried pace, Justice kept the audience's focus by teasing out strands of the next track to come. Why not give a taste of "DVNO" during "Genesis"? Why not sample "We Are Your Friends" during an interlude in "Stress"? Add in some mesmerizing, geometric visuals, and some rain to cool down the crowd and you have a Justice-approved recipe for a good time. Too bad that the hits that got the most cheers came off an album that was produced back in 2007.
