As recently reported, beloved Hamilton, ON duo Junior Boys are returning with more of their charming electro pop when they release It's All True this spring. The album, which follows their 2009 effort Begone Dull Care, was said to have a North American tour surrounding its release. Now we're happy to report those dates.
The run of shows kicks off on June 9 at Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre and continues through to Ottawa and Montreal on June 10 and 11, respectively. Sadly, that's the end of the Canadian dates, for now at least, as the band will spend the rest of the month in the United States before hitting up London, England on June 30.
It's All True will be available from Domino on June 14 worldwide, with a UK release coming on June 20. Album track "ep" can be downloaded here in exchange for your email address.
A twelve-inch single for the track "Banana Ripple" will be available on May 30 in the UK. Backed with a "drumapella version" and a remix from the Field, the single can be pre-ordered here.
