Julien Baker impressed with her 2015 debut Sprained Ankle — so much so that Matador Records will reissue the LP on March 17 for regions outside of the United States and Australia. That same day, the same label will also be issuing a new 7-inch from Baker featuring an A-side called "Funeral Pyre" and an accompanying B-side titled "Distant Solar System."
The former has been a part of Baker's live set for a while now, but she debuted the studio version of it on NPR, after chatting to All Songs Considered host Bob Boilen about the upcoming reissue and the new track.
