Julien Baker and TORRES kicked off a North American tour behind their collaborative country album, Send a Prayer My Way, at the end of April. However, just a few shows into the run of dates, they've cancelled the remainder of the concerts running from now through May 18, citing Baker's need to focus on her health.
"Due to recent events, Julien Baker is prioritizing her well-being and taking time to focus on her health," reads a statement shared on the duo's behalf yesterday (May 4). "Therefore, the Julien Baker & TORRES's Send a Prayer My Way tour has been cancelled. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the disappointment this may cause for fans. We deeply appreciate your understanding."
According to Baker's website, it looks like some of the pair's planned festival appearances this summer will still go ahead, beginning on June 20 in Greenfield, MA. While no further details have been given about the singer-songwriter's health concerns, she and TORRES previously had to cancel some March gigs due to one of the band's key members sustaining a concussion.
