Over the years, veteran compsoer and violist John Metcalfe has worked with artists like the Durutti Column, Blur, Morrissey and many more. He's got an album of his own called The Appearance of Colour due out on June 8 through Real World, and it features Bat for Lashes leader Natasha Khan on the song "Just Let Go."
The track begins quietly, with soft piano notes and minimal strings. The arrangement gradually becomes more lush, as electronic beats and Khan's processed vocals are joined by ornate orchestrations.
