Okay John Frusciante fans, we've got good news and bad news: the good part is that the Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist has released those previously promised new tracks from his solo electronic project Trickfinger; the bad part is that fans will need to buy some expensive merch in order to get them.

Evar Records, the label Frusciante runs with his partner Aura T-09, has released a small merch line called the OG LOGO Collection. There are three items: a T-shirt for $89 CAD, a long-sleeve for $123 CAD or a hoodie for $259 CAD.

Fans who purchase any one of those items will receive two new tracks by Trickfinger. The two new songs are glitchy, beat-driven electro tracks titled "Discobong" and "Simplicity." Currently, there is no (official) way to hear the songs except to buy the merch.

Check out John modelling the hoodie below. See the merch options over at Evar's website.
