Since John Foxx and the Maths released their album The Shape of Things, they've issued another a couple more with Evidence and Rhapsody, but the former Ultravox singer and his collaborator Benge have returned to The Shape of Things to share a video for the song "Talk."
The song is a creepy, minimal electronic track, and the accompanying clip is similarly spooky. It shows a lightbulb swinging in a dim, dingy room while a suit-wearing man watches a woman dance and writhe on the table.
It was directed by Japanese filmmaker Macoto Tezka, who explained in a statement, "This short song has uniqueness and a mystical sense of beauty; it brings me back the picture of surrealistic piece of art. Such dreams expressed in the film have a similar essence to a Japanese 'tan-ka' poem."
