Jhené Aiko and Big Sean Join Forces for Debut Album as Twenty88
Published Mar 28, 2016Jhené Aiko and Big Sean have teamed up under the banner of Twenty88, and the pair will be introducing the world to their new project later this week. A self-titled debut album is due out on April 1 through Def Jam.
The record will be released as an exclusive Tidal stream for 72 hours before getting a wider release as a commercial download.
The label confirmed the joint release, retweeting a series of teasers from the artists. A pair of mysterious video trailers introduced the project, followed by reveal of the album artwork. You can see both videos below, while the cover is pictured above.

The duo will make their live television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Thursday (March 31) prior to the album drop.
The new moniker references Aiko and Big Sean's age and birth year; both were born in 1988 and are currently 28 years old. They have previously collaborated on singles like "I'm Gonna Be," "Beware" and "I Know." Relive the latter in the player below.
