The Jezabels Return with 'Synthia,' Announce North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Nov 20, 2015

After being pushed to The Brink on their sophomore set, Aussie indie rock squad the Jezabels have announce they've returned to deliver another LP. Their third full-length is called Synthia, and Dine Alone puts it in Canadian stores on February 12.

A press release explains that the recording sessions behind the album reunited the band with longtime producer Lachlan Mitchell. The 10-song set is described as "a bold assertion of craft that sets this band apart in a world groaning with blokes doing their best impersonation of rock authenticity." Apparently, this is in part due to synth player Heather Shannon's growing "arsenal of new and vintage keyboards," which have reportedly added even more textures to the band's arrangements.

To help tease the 2016 release, the Jezabels are previewing first single "Come Alive" with an animated and conflict-heavy video. You'll find the clip, along with Synthia's tracklisting and a handful of upcoming North American tour dates, down below.
