Jeremy Enigk Warns of Big Changes On Next Album

After a bit of delay, former Sunny Day Real Estate front-man Jeremy Enigk has set a firm due date for his new solo effort. Titled OK Bear, the record is now touching down on May 12 via the one-time emo posterboy's Lewis Hollow imprint.

As previously reported, Enigk has warned fans to expect some big changes on this one, saying last year that OK Bear would be dominated by a "relatively stripped-down rock aesthetic" and "heavy rockers." He also said that he's "dabbled with a country feel" but if new track "Mind Idea," now streaming at his MySpace page, is any indication, it still very much sounds like Enigk.

There's still no sign of a tracklisting or any tour dates in support of the album, but Enigk has promised to "tour as much as possible."
