Jens Lekman and Taken By Trees (aka Victoria Bergsman) have a lot in common. Not only are both acclaimed Swedish indie pop songwriters, but both acts are signed to Secretly Canadian and have new albums due out in the coming months. Fittingly, they will be teaming up for a collaborative tour of North America this fall.
The collaborative outing kicks off at the beginning of October and lasts for a little more than a month before wrapping up in early November. Along the way, they will play a number of U.S. dates and three Canadian shows: Toronto on October 4, Montreal on October 5 and Vancouver on November 2.
Before teaming up with Taken by Trees, Lekman has a number of European dates of his own. See his full schedule below.
Lekman's upcoming album is called I Know What Love Isn't and it's due out September 4, while Taken By Trees' LP is called Other Worlds and it's slated for a October 2 release.
