Even if they're not fans of the Carters, kids in South Carolina should have a newfound appreciation for JAY-Z and Beyoncé, as the couple's "On the Run II Tour" is causing a handful of schools to shut down early later this month.

The tour hits Columbia on August 21, prompting six schools in the Richland One School District to issue a half-day due to traffic concerns.

According to Billboard, the district claims that if students were to be let out at their usual time, school buses could get stuck in the traffic heading into the concert at Williams-Brice Stadium. The University of South Carolina football facility can host up to 80,000 people.

Unfortunately for the other schools in the surrounding area, they'll be stuck waiting out the rest of the day.
